HELPING PRODUCT LEADERS TRANSFORM ORGANIZATIONS
Leading a digital or technology transformation across a large organization is a journey that requires the right team, practices, and leadership. Langer Consulting Group LLC helps leaders drive this change, moving from ineffective processes and projects to customer-centered, empowered product teams that drive innovation.
WHAT WE DO
Langer Consulting Group LLC (LCG) works with large organizations to help them transform their technology and design teams to a product operating model. We have experience across all phases and altitudes of digital and technology transformations. From beginning the transformation, to scaling new practices, to accelerating an ongoing transformation, we have walked that path and are ready to help. If any of these example thoughts or statements have been mentioned in your org, we can help:
“This just isn’t working anymore, our customers expect more of our products and we just can’t keep up.”
“We know we need to change, but where do we start and what does the path look like?”
“Do we have the right talent internally to make this big change?“
“How do we know if what we’re building is working for our customers and our business?”

– Led, consulted, or coached teams at large-scale organizations including Best Buy, Mayo Clinic, Allina Health, Department of Veterans Affairs, and the US Digital Services
Jeff Maher
Director of Engineering
Formerly US Digital Service
“Compassionate, organized, and focused. During my time in the US Digital Service, the event of Stacey joining our team as the Vets.gov Product Lead was one of the top three biggest multipliers on the team’s velocity and effectiveness. Stacey was able to organize our team into effective squads that focused squarely on a single problem at a time. This was done in concert with
shaping a smart strategy and mission on what Vets.gov had to be and what it could feasibly become under constraints. Under her watchful eye and in a single year, there were some huge accomplishments: vets can refill prescriptions and message doctors from any device, 100K vets were able to enroll in healthcare (in six months), 50K vets were enrolled in education benefits (in three months), and the team automated and monitored most of its infrastructure.
Stacey is one of the most motivating, sharp, and honest bosses I’ve ever had. Any organization would be extremely lucky to have her.”
Robert Neer
Vice President, Product & Engineering
Formerly Best Buy Co., Inc.
“I had a front row seat to witness how Stacey took the “product model” from an idea to a deeply embedded mindset and a core operating principle that drove valuable business outcomes, and team member empowerment and engagement. Both the business and the organization thrived as a result. Don’t miss the chance to bring this to your business.”
“Transforming into and maturing product-centered models of operating is not about job titles, or RACI charts – Stacey brings lived experience and deep product sense to this challenging space and knows that better customer and business outcomes are achievable through advancing product management skills, mindsets and practices. Her blend of user-centered design thinking, business acumen and product leadership and practices will bring advantages to any organization curious enough to leverage them.”

“Stacey has the highest of integrity, she can lead and mentor like nobody’s business, and she is also not the least daunted by challenges most other mortals would find impossible. I look forward to the day when I can work with her again.”
“I had the great privilege of working with Stacey in my time as Chief Technology Officer of the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs under the Obama Administration. She came on initially to lead product for our digital transformation initiative. As a political appointee in government, I had a known end date, and my successor was not yet known. My team unanimously selected Stacey to help lead them through the transition in my absence, with my full trust and support. The stakes could not have been higher, and yet Stacey successfully not just protected our team through a tumultuous transition, but helped them thrive and to be positioned as one of the few successful post-transition initiatives. Today’s VA is so improved in so many ways, thanks to leaders like Stacey, that it can be hard to fathom how disjointed and impossible to navigate it once was.”
